No, you'll need a USB Type-C full-featured cable to connect the adapter to your glasses. A high quality 1-meter USB-C to USB-C full-featured cable is recommended. A USB 2.0 cable will not work.

For further support regarding cable compatibility, please contact the manufacturer of your USB-C monitor or AR glasses.

We do not recommend using the USB-C female port labeled with the glasses icon to connect your portable drive, as the transfer speed is limited to USB 2.0.

This adapter is specially designed for head-mounted displays such as Xreal, VITURE, and RayNeo. If you only want to connect USB-C monitors, simply connect your host device directly to the monitors.

If you want to use the adapter to connect standard USB-C monitors, please note that when you connect USB-C monitors using a full-featured USB-C cable through the USB-C female port marked with a glasses icon, the adapter will not provide charging for your smartphone, laptop, or gaming PC. In this case, if you also need to charge your host device, connect a PD power supply to the USB-C female port marked with the DC input symbol.

• macOS: Go to Apple menu → System Settings → Sound, and select your glasses as the audio output.

• Windows: Search for "Sound settings" and choose your glasses as the output device.

• iPhone / iPad: Sound should work automatically if your glasses/monitor support audio.

• Samsung: Swipe down to open Quick Settings panel, tap "Media output," and select your glasses or USB-C monitor.

Make sure your Wi-Fi or cellular network is strong. If you're using Wi-Fi, try connecting to the 5GHz band for a more stable and reliable connection. Also, use a high-quality USB-C full-featured cable to ensure a solid connection.

The adapter consumes 8W for its own operation when power passes through it. So with a 100W charger connected, the max output delivered to your laptop will be 92W.

• Please note that the adapter itself consumes power, so a 30W or higher power adapter is recommended.

• Using the original lower-wattage charger with the adapter may result in slower charging speeds compared to charging without the adapter.

When a large amount of power passes through the adapter, it naturally generates heat, and the internal chipset will also get warm during operation. This is normal and doesn't mean the adapter is defective.

However, if the adapter becomes excessively hot, or if you notice video issues, or if the plastic casing starts to melt, stop using the adapter immediately and contact us right away.

• Always keep your glasses' firmware up to date. You can try connecting your glasses directly to your smartphone, laptop, or gaming PC to run a comparison test.
